Plot Synopsis

Zhao Yuan, the Dragon Marshal who protected the country, had fought in battles for many years and achieved remarkable military exploits. However, he suffered from severe post-traumatic stress disorder. He would fall ill immediately as long as his emotions were stimulated or he saw blood. Only by staying with his parents and feeling the warmth of home could he regain calmness. In order to recover as soon as possible, Zhao Yuan returned to his hometown to accompany his parents and run a small restaurant. But then he encountered Wang Long, a local big scoundrel, who came to blackmail them. Wang Long and his wife were arrogant and overbearing. Not only did they eat without paying, but they also beat up Zhao Yuan's parents violently, which caused his mother's asthma to flare up. Zhao Yuan endured again and again, but Wang Long snatched the asthma medicine and threatened Zhao Yuan to kneel down and beg for mercy with his mother's life.
