Plot Synopsis

Yuan Yuan, the daughter of Liu Zhenxiang, was beaten to death by the villagers who chased after them while trying to cover the escape of her mother and sister Li Yue from the mountain village. Liu Zhenxiang asked relatives and neighbors for help with the burial expenses but was refused and insulted. Her in-laws, Li Hai and Zeng Guihua, also regarded her as a money-loser. Years later, Li Yue, who had escaped from Li Family Village, succeeded in the business world through her own efforts and returned to her hometown to rescue her mother Liu Zhenxiang. The clansmen, fearing that she would take revenge for the old grudges, threatened and accused her one after another.
