Plot Synopsis

During the chaotic era of the Republic of China, Qin Wanyu, a famous pipa player, possessed extraordinary skills while hiding her identity as a secret agent. She conquered the upper class society with her stunning pipa music, winning the special favor of Lu Tingchen, the young marshal. However, beneath her elegant appearance, Qin Wanyu was secretly investigating the conspiracy of the Yuan State and was determined to nip their medical experiments in the bud. When she successfully assassinated Yamamoto, an important figure of the Yuan State, she unexpectedly got involved in an even bigger maelstrom. Lu Tingchen became suspicious of her identity, and the two of them engaged in a thrilling battle of wits.
