Plot Synopsis

Cui Min, as the eldest daughter in the family, was deeply oppressed by the concept of favoring sons over daughters. She selflessly took care of her mother who was in a vegetative state for three years and even donated one of her kidneys, but she never got her mother's preference. Her mother left all the property to her unfilial younger brother, Cui Guodong. Deeply stricken, Cui Min was disheartened and chose to leave.
