Plot Synopsis

Zhao Ling was born into a feudal family. When she was young, she was insulted by her father and her mother was constantly bullied. Although she was admitted to a prestigious school, she gave up her studies due to family pressure. Despite the opposition of her family, she fell in love with Xiao Fan and got married, but then suffered from domestic violence. After giving birth to her daughter Xiao Muwan, Zhao Ling was still abused by her husband. Many years later, the old master of the Zhao family was critically ill, and the relatives were engaged in fierce infighting to fight for the inheritance. When Zhao Ling went back home to attend the funeral, she was blocked by her relatives and couldn't see her father for the last time. Amid regret and pain, Zhao Ling was determined to fight for the rights and interests that she and her daughter deserved, thus embarking on a difficult journey of self-redemption.
