Plot Synopsis

The second part of "Colorful Farmyard" tells four short stories in total. "Controversy over Gift Money" tells the farce of a couple who, unable to bear the heavy burden of giving gift money for various occasions, first divorced and then remarried. "Marriage Arrangements" is about the story that during the process of discussing marriage, the parents of the bride demanded a high amount of betrothal gifts, which led to the parents of the groom being heavily in debt. However, their children skillfully mediated between the parents with their own wisdom and resolved the conflicts. "One's Own Turf" tells the story of a young man and a young woman who once had emotional entanglements and both returned to the village to start their own businesses. They had a fierce fight due to old grudges and new hatreds. Eventually, the misunderstandings between them that had lasted for many years were resolved, and they led the villagers to get rich and rekindled their old relationship.
