Plot Synopsis

When Gu Mian and Li Huaihan first got married, their relationship was good. However, four years after the marriage, due to Li Huaihan taking too much care of his mentor's daughter Xia Yao, the two had numerous quarrels. Disheartened, Gu Mian left a divorce agreement and went abroad. But Gu Mian missed home too much, which caused her to have a heart problem. Abroad, she met the psychologist Xie Luo, who helped her get through the low point in her life. Three years later, Gu Mian and Xie Luo returned to China together. In order to cure Gu Mian's illness, Xie Luo deliberately provoked Li Huaihan, making Li Huaihan realize the harm he had once done to Gu Mian, and finally allowing the two to let go of their grudges and get back together successfully.
