Plot Synopsis

Wang Ming's son, Wang Xiaolong, suffered from a rare disease and needed a special medicine that Professor Tong could only produce one dose of in three years. Through the matchmaking of his old classmate Fang Hui, an appointment was made for everyone to meet in a hotel. When Professor Tong and his party arrived at the entrance of the hotel, they were attacked by Wang Xiaolong with a slingshot, and the special medicine was also smashed. After Wang Ming arrived, he wrongly blamed Professor Tong. After the truth came to light, when he failed to obtain the medicine, he exerted pressure. As a result, General Manager Liu showed up and dismissed Wang Ming. The Wang couple was arrested, and Wang Xiaolong eventually died of the illness.
