Plot Synopsis

Starting from Lin Li's marriage story, it tells a series of family conflicts and life choices caused by high betrothal gifts. Qiu Ju had a conflict with Zheng Junlong's family due to the issue of betrothal gifts. Junlong's mother was seriously ill in bed and worried that her son would be burdened because of her.
