Plot Synopsis

Du Chengye, the father, owed a huge amount of foreign debt due to the delay in project payments. To protect his wife and daughters, Huang Mei and Du Juan, the family was forced to separate, and they agreed to meet them after the turmoil subsided. Twenty years later, Du Chengye achieved great success and fame and inquired about Du Juan's whereabouts everywhere. The mother and daughter were poverty-stricken and mistakenly believed that Du Chengye had already drowned and died. Du Chengye inquired about the whereabouts of the mother and daughter everywhere in order to find Du Juan.
