Plot Synopsis

Ye Lingmei's mother and younger sister were brutally victimized by the Gu family. Her mother unfortunately passed away. However, her father, disregarding family affection, was determined to marry her off to Gu Jingchen, the heir of the Gu family. Ye Lingmei vowed to resist and would rather die than comply. But her father actually used her younger sister, who was living in a nursing home and on the verge of death, to blackmail her.
