Plot Synopsis

After getting married, Zhao Shuxiu gave up her job and became a housewife. She worked hard without complaint for decades. However, her husband Li Hongwei was kind to everyone except Zhao Shuxiu. After a medical examination, Zhao Shuxiu learned that Li Hongwei had cancer. Zhao Shuxiu originally wanted to use the money she had saved to treat Li Hongwei's illness, but Li Hongwei thought that she was trying to cheat him out of money and insisted on lending the money to the neighbors. After Li Hongwei learned that he had cancer, he could never get the money back.
