Plot Synopsis

Monk Tang Mingxuan (Tang Zeng) was inadvertently targeted by a thousand-year-old demon. Just before the thousand-year-old demon was about to devour Tang Zeng with saliva dripping from its mouth, it was knocked dead by Pilgrim Xun (Xun Wukong) with a bludgeon. Tang Zeng, out of kindness, chanted scriptures to convert the thousand-year-old demon. The demon then transmigrated into the body of Bai Yiyi in modern times. Lei Ranran is a marriage failure, a scheming woman who snatched her husband (Tang Feng). When the demon came to modern times, it mistook Tang Feng, the husband, for Monk Tang Zeng and wanted to eat him. At the same time, it wanted to survive by using the identity of Bai Yiyi. The demon has to face many challenges from modern society and Tang Feng. Can it adapt to modern society and finally fall deeply in love with Tang Feng? It's a romantic comedy story.
