Plot Synopsis

Zhao Xu was originally living an ordinary life. One accident sent him穿越 (the Chinese term for "traveling through time and space" should be replaced with an appropriate English equivalent like "transported" or "traveled through time") into the body of a prince. He found that this world was complex and absurd. His fief was remote and desolate. The country was plagued by internal and external troubles, and the common people were living in great misery. Zhao Xu was determined to improve people's livelihood. He led the people to reclaim wasteland, build water conservancy projects, and develop commerce, gradually revitalizing the fief. However, the neighboring country coveted its prosperity and sent troops to invade. Facing the aggression, he rose up in resistance.
