Plot Synopsis

When Chen Ming woke up, he found himself reborn in the small mountain village where he had been sent to work as an educated youth in 1980. He decided to completely turn over a new leaf and live a good life with his wife Zhou Ling and their child Yinyin. Chen Ming made a solemn pledge to his brother-in-law Zhou Ping and others, winning the trust of the whole family again. Using the memories of his previous life, Chen Ming successfully earned his first pot of gold by reselling scarce items. Just when the whole family began to suspect that Chen Ming had run away again, Chen Ming came home with a truckload of household appliances, slapping everyone in the face and making his wife feel his changes.
