At the Engagement Banquet

Plot Synopsis

Jiang Tian returned to China for his daughter Jiang Xuerou's engagement banquet. Unexpectedly, he was mistaken for a gigolo by his son-in-law Zhang Chao, who joined forces with his subordinates to beat Jiang Tian and damaged the relics of Jiang Tian's deceased wife. Jiang Tian fought back but was outnumbered and knocked unconscious. After Jiang Xuerou arrived, she cancelled the engagement. The four major families in Jiangcheng rushed to the scene to clear Jiang Tian's name. In the end, Zhang Chao, the phoenix man, reaped what he had sown, and both father and daughter were overjoyed.
