Plot Synopsis

Meng Wanqiu, who was forty years old,闪婚（“闪婚”可直译为“flash marriage”，但在英文语境中可能不太常用，也可意译为“got married on a whim”或“hastily got married”，这里选用“hastily got married”） with Shao Xun, the chairman of a wealthy family, in order to deal with her daughter's urging to get married. On the day they got the marriage certificate, Shao Xun went abroad and the two lost contact for a year. A year later, Meng Wanqiu was selected to be Shao Xun's personal assistant. When they faced each other, they had both forgotten what their marriage partner looked like. Shao Xun misunderstood that his wife was having an affair on his way to pick her up. Meng Wanqiu didn't know for a long time that her husband was her boss until Shao Xun suddenly learned that his wife was named Meng Wanqiu. How will the misunderstanding be cleared up?
