An Unexpected Turnaround

Plot Synopsis

The female lead, Li Hao, entrusted her daughter to her husband's care when she went out shopping. Unexpectedly, on the day she returned home, her daughter died accidentally because the door was not closed properly. The husband thought it was the wife's negligence that led to the daughter's death. In fact, it was his betrayal that caused the daughter to run out of the house by mistake and fall to her death, but he had no remorse at all. The female lead, who was already weak and self-abased in character, was deeply trapped in self-blame and couldn't extricate herself. Fortunately, on the way home that day, the female lead saw a child on the roadside breathing rapidly. Li Hao used the Heimlich maneuver to rescue the younger brother (the little prodigy) of the female boss, Xiao Qiu, in time. To thank the female lead for her rescue, Xiao Qiu decided to help Li Hao fight back against the husband's family.
