Plot Synopsis

Xiao Nan, a master of ancient martial arts, lived in seclusion in the mountains. However, he was fought over by Su Qing, the daughter of the Su family, and Tang Mengfan, the daughter of the Tang family. In order to save someone, Xiao Nan postponed his marriage with Su Qing and helped Tang Mengfan to rescue the head of the Tang family. When Xiao Nan returned to the Su family to fulfill the engagement, he was humiliated by Su Qing's mother and her younger brother Su Peng. Coincidentally, Brother Dao, a thug, came to the door to collect Su Peng's gambling debts. Su's mother and Su Peng forced Su Qing to marry Young Master Wang in exchange for betrothal gifts. Xiao Nan said that he could help Su Peng pay off the debts, but was ridiculed by everyone. After the debt repayment arrived, Xiao Nan beat away Brother Dao who still wanted to snatch Su Qing, and thus offended Zhao Han, the underground leader.
