Plot Synopsis

Ten years ago, in a car accident, Lu Xiyan was on the verge of death and Lu Qianxing was disabled in both legs. Her mother, Ji Chunyun, chose to save Lu Xiyan with the only money she had, which left Lu Qianxing disabled in both legs. During the ten years, in order to make up for the debt to Lu Qianxing, Ji Chunyun favored her son more, which made Lu Xiyan think that her mother favored boys over girls and never attached importance to her. Lu Xiyan was jealous and extremely pained by her mother's unfair treatment. When Lu Xiyan was seriously ill again and begged her mother to save her, Ji Chunyun concealed the fact that saving Lu Xiyan would cost her own life and also took away Lu Xiyan's only savings for Lu Qianxing's surgery expenses.
