Plot Synopsis

Xu Mingzhu's husband passed away in his prime. The couple had a daughter. After her husband's death, she and her daughter had been living in her husband's family, but unexpectedly, she had been exploited by them all the time. In order to provide a better life for her daughter, Xu Mingzhu was usually busy with her career, and her daughter was taken care of by her mother-in-law. Her younger brother-in-law was jobless and idle all day long, and his wife was also staying at home to take care of their own son. Their only financial source relied on Xu Mingzhu. When the two children were about to enter primary school, Xu Mingzhu bought a school district house for her daughter and was going to send her to the best primary school in the urban area. However, her younger brother-in-law and his wife played tricks and tried to morally blackmail Xu Mingzhu into buying a house for their son as well.
