Plot Synopsis

The young lady Ning Yu, who didn't want to follow her father's arrangements, ran away from home. She originally wanted to start the "Midnight Diner" of her dreams with her boyfriend Meng Fangzhou, but was abandoned by Meng Fangzhou due to lack of funds. Just when she thought the diner couldn't continue, Lu Siyang, a young man who claimed to have traveled from the Republic of China, appeared at the diner door. While Lu Siyang tried to trigger the inheritance left by his master, he also adapted to modern life with the help of Ning Yu. He made the diner thrive with his excellent cooking skills, and then chose to join Meng Fangzhou's diner because of differences in ideas with Ning Yu.
