Plot Synopsis

An old widower named Lao Wang has been widowed for 15 years. Due to loneliness and longing for emotional comfort, he was targeted by a young woman named Xueli and a fraud ringleader named Biao Ge. Xueli deliberately arranged an encounter, gained Lao Wang's trust with her tenderness and consideration, and swindled away his 300,000 yuan of pension money for the first time. The greedy Biao Ge instigated Xueli to continue the fraud and demanded 4 million yuan on the pretext of a high-return investment project. Lao Wang believed it without hesitation and even took out the demolition compensation money, sold his farmland at a low price, and even borrowed money from relatives and friends to raise the funds.
