Plot Synopsis

Lan Mei'e, who made a living by selling mooncakes in the township, was despised by others because of the severe burn scars on her face. Her husband died early, leaving only a son and a daughter, Chu Sheng and Chu Yue, by her side. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chu Sheng accidentally lost Chu Yue. For twenty years, Lan Mei'e had been waiting for Chu Yue to come home and painstakingly brought up Chu Sheng. Chu Sheng came to Lincheng and married Miss Bai Feifei of the Bai family, and they had a son. To help Chu Sheng, Lan Mei'e sold her mooncake shop to attend the grandson's 100-day banquet. On the way there, she happened to meet Su Tang, the chairman of the Su Group, who had been looking for her mother.
